The Minister of Fisheries Mrs. Gladys Asmah says President Kufuor will by the end of October cut the sod to begin work on a $16 million fishing harbour at Elimina. The Minister announced this at a reconciliation meeting with the two factions of fishermen in the town who are in conflict over the sale of Premix fuel. Report say the conflict arose when the chief Fisherman, Jojo Solomon was alleged to have failed to account for GHC 35,000 being profits accrued on the sale of the commodity.
